In July 2024, the National Association of Realtors is implementing new guidelines for agents who represent people who are looking to purchase a home. Prior to working with a "buyer", agents are now required to obtain written representation from the buyer. That is not new, it is just being enforced in order to level the playing field in negotiations.

Exclusive Seller Representation

Traditionally in Florida, sellers have paid the buyer's agent commission. We list properties for 2%, and require the buyer to pay their own agent.
